Art Practice - 2023, 24

So many torsos and so many faces. Let's see if the practice shows. The idea is to draw a full person with all the details one might want to add with a pencil. I'm not inking into my sketchbook because of the bleed, I decided.

Kinda? The torso looks constructed better, even with the torsion that is built into it. Eye placement at angles is still a bit wonky, and I'm gonna have to take an eraser to the construction lines as well, so that's gonna be fun.

It's still a bit messy around the right eye, but otherwise it cleaned up alright. I had to move the legs because one disappeared behind the other in a way that looked suspicious. This is okay though. If I have to work more on the face details in future drawings, at least I don't have to fight with hair construction and the torso as much, so I'll run with it for a while.


Roland


There once was a hamster called Roland,

who sought to travel to Poland.

and chucked himself down low

on a truck with some sausage in tow.
